Poster Format

Mounting and Dimensions

The conference will supply materials for mounting the posters. The poster board is 1.2m x 2.4m and will hold two posters. Therefore each poster will have a total area of 1.2m x 1.2m. Please respect these maximum dimensions strictly.

Scheduling

Posters will stay the entire conference and are expected to be mounted Tuesday morning for maximum visibility. Posters should be removed the last day after the end of the last poster session. Each poster will have a unique identifier, which is available from the Full Conference Program.

e-Teaser format

Each poster will be given the opportunity to show a one slide e-Teaser PowerPoint presentation. Several plasma screen televisions will be availble in the lobby of the conference and will display in a continuous show the e-Teasers of the day.

Please email your one slide PowerPoint e-Teaser to olivier.salvado@csiro.au. Your e-Teaser should include at least: title, authors, and the poster number (from the program, for example: W09) in the top right corner in Arial black over non transparent white background with font size 24.

Please use the PowerPoint template for the formatting of the poster number. Please mention your paper and poster numbers in your email and in the file name.

Details to keep in mind:

• PowerPoint 2003 will be used (no PDF documents please);
• e-Teasers should include title and authors;
• Poster number from the program (for example W09) must be placed in the top right corner in Arial black 24 pt over a non transparent white background;
• Presentations should be 25.4 cm wide and 19.05cm high (On-screen Show);
• Each slide will be displayed for approximately 7 seconds;
• No access will be provided to the computers running the slideshow during the conference;
• The one slide PowerPoint file must been sent before Monday 29 October, 2007;
• Movies or animations might not show correctly so it is best not to include any;
• Use formatting and font size appropriate for plasma TV display.
